Short version: We use one type of non-essential cookie — Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use our website. No advertising, tracking, or social media cookies. You can opt out at any time.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember your actions or preferences over time, or to collect information about how you use the site.
Cookies are set either by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services operating on that website ("third-party cookies").
Beyond cookies, websites may also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage. Where we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we mean all such similar technologies.
Our use of cookies is governed by:
Under Belgian ePrivacy law, non-essential cookies (including analytics cookies) require your prior, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent before they are placed on your device. Essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function do not require consent.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
GA4 collects information about your use of our website, including:
GA4 uses IP anonymisation by default. Full IP addresses are not stored. Data is collected under a pseudonymous identifier and cannot directly identify you as an individual.
Data collected by GA4 is transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the United States. This transfer is conducted under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguarding terms.
We have configured GA4 with a data retention period of 14 months, the minimum available setting.
⚠ Note on Belgian GBA guidance: The Belgian Data Protection Authority has issued guidance on the use of Google Analytics. We have implemented IP anonymisation, minimised data retention, and require consent before GA4 cookies are set, in line with this guidance. We continue to monitor regulatory developments in this area.
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner will ask for your permission before any analytics cookies are placed. You can:
Your preference is saved for 12 months. You can change your choice at any time — see Section 6.
Consent is recorded before any non-essential cookie is set, in accordance with the Belgian ePrivacy Act and GBA recommendations. Pre-ticked boxes and implied consent are not used.
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by clicking Manage cookie preferences or by contacting us at hello@auditstream.ai and we will reset your preference.
Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies. Instructions for the most common browsers:

We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or change our analytics setup. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. If we introduce any new non-essential cookies, we will re-request your consent via the cookie banner.
